Fan art of Spike's iconic fighter from Cowboy Bebop. I did my best to stay true to the original design, though I added a few details where I felt the original had a lack of detail which didn't translate so well into 3D. Modelling was done in blender, with textures baked in marmoset toolbag. I then textured it using Substance Painter, with several custom normal stamps and alphas for details done in Photoshop and Substance Designer. Unreal was used for the showcase video, so I could get a dramatic scene with Mars in the background and experiment a little with making shaders for a planet.
